I thought this book was super cool as a language learner because it contains 3 different versions of Japanese; including two that have been created by the author. The reader is given specific rules for some of these languages and you just have to fly into it full steam ahead. Great world building and the language level isn't too bad, once you factor in all of the other languages. :) Def N2+ to N1 level.
Unlike some other Japanese books I have been reading (you know who), there is a good reveal so it's worth sticking with. You'll like this if you know some East Asian history and like puzzles.
