A Cute Comedic Romance

This manga is a standard example of the "cute easy cooking slice of life with some comedy and romance" genre. I have no complaints.

The manga contains a slow love story between two weirdos (who are weird in a human way, rather than a manga character way). In one volume, we've gone from hand-holding to a kiss on the cheak which is pretty impressive

Personally, this isn't a manga that I would choose to read myself, but it's very enjoyable to read with others--especially since you can make fun of the characters. What do you mean you're putting olive oil on your icecream

This manga doesn't have any furigana, but the kanji in it is all pretty common. It's a great choice for someone who wants to branch out of the furigana full manga.

The grammar here is very simple, with both examples of ます form and short form.

I personally had about 30 words per chapter I put in my anki deck, but only like 10 a chapter I couldn't just guess the meanings/readings of; such as 具[ぐ] meaning ingredient and 挽[ひ]く meaning "to mill".

For example, I put in 大[おお]さじ Tablespoon into my anki deck cuz I guessed the 大 was read as だい. I already knew it meant tablespoon.
