Pretentious

I usually like these kind of abstract shows but it gets a little too high off it's own supply.

I felt like I genuinely was wasting my time with each episode. The first 2 arcs were clever and I thought they were fun but as a Japanese learner it's one of those shows maybe you're better off watching once you're so comfortable in the language.

The vocab isn't hard, but the dialogue is very pun-riddled and there's a lot of wordplay (which everyone feels required to comment on, even myself).

Maybe it's just where I am at right now that this show felt like a chore to watch. Maybe if you like the smell of your own farts and/or Rick and Morty, you'll dig this but this aint it for me chief.
