Cute slice of life manga

This is a manga about some girls from a rural area that are starting high school. On the first day of high school, there is a rumor going around that some beautiful girl from Tokyo is part of the freshman class. The MC (小春) happens to run into this girl (真冬) and they realize they were childhood friends before 真冬 moved away after elementary school. Immediately after, 真冬 joins 小春's small group of friends and they spend their days together.

There is this line at the end of the book that I think describes it well "友達以上恋人未満な女子高生４人組が送る、田舎のまったりスクールライフ。特別なことは起きないけれど、この日々はきっと「とくべつ」"

The first volume is very relaxing. There is basically no drama going on but just the girls spending their days together and doing various things. I can't say there is anything particularly unique so far but its a very calming read that'll leave you feeling good after. The characters are all cute in their own way and the author does a great job giving them various facial expressions. A lot of the expressions were very cute or funny.

On the language learning side of things, this one is rather easy. There's not much furigana but the majority of the dialogue is standard slice of life that you'd find in other high school type settings. There were a couple of times where the characters would omit some stuff that confused me but since there is no real plot going on, you can follow along easily even if one piece of dialogue doesn't make that much sense.
