Bloated overall, but enjoyed the ending
None of the characters really gave me a reason to care for them, especially the main character, until about the last ~180 pages. I saw the plot twist coming so long ago, but this last part is when we finally got a reason to care about any of these characters.
At the very start of the book I was looking for some kind of symbolism for real-life isolation caused by internet friendships, as I heard mental health was a big theme in this book. I don't think this ended up being part of the message, as far as I can understand it.
I was going to give less than two stars, but I did enjoy how the plot points were woven together at the end of the book, so that gave it a third star at the last moment.
