This was a fun, easy read. I didn't know much about Miyahara Satoko before reading this, but I like figure skating and language learning so I thought that I'd give it a try. I found Miyahara's voice to be clear and refreshing. I liked the book's mix of sections on her mentality and mindset related to both of the book's topics, as well as her frank discussions of her strengths and weaknesses in different areas and important moments for both her career and her personal growth (like her injury and time spent in physical therapy). 4 stars.
Japanese: The Japanese used in this book is simple, as it mainly uses common vocabulary and kanji and is centered around Miyahara's skating career and reflections on her life and career. I read the physical copy and didn't have any issues reading with minimal lookups.
