The overall quality is really improved, and to the season's credit, this was the first season where I felt like watching the filler, and for the most part it's pretty good. Uranus and Neptune being some much needed intensity to the show, and the season overall feels a bit more mature, while still retaining the best parts of its comedy and slice of life. Chibiusa is also substantially more tolerable in this season
On the other hand, the monster of the week is degraded to sexy lady + object, and the battles become even more formulaic than they were previously. The master villain is painfully undeveloped and one-dimensional as well. The Witches 5 are ok, tho I found it unbelievable that they'd be working away in this dingy underground lab, for a doctor who doesn't seem all that appealing. The plot also is generally really dragged out, and a bit underwhelmingly executed + but honestly the plot isn't really the appeal, imo.
Overall it's the season I've enjoyed the most so far tho, definitely recommend it!
