My first manga - with Wanikani Absolute Beginners Book Club.
I enjoyed the story, Volume 1 is a bit of a slow burn, and setting the scene. The art is good, and the kanji is not too dense (usually). I found it a challenging read, but reading with a book club was very motivating, and the vocab lists, discussions etc. helped me get through it. I’m looking forward to starting volume 2 soon :)
