For a book generally aimed at young adults, it strikes a nice balance between its tragic and hopeful elements. The exploration of the two main character's differing worldviews, and how they ultimately come together to form a thesis on living one's life to the fullest, was well done. But it's sad! This is a good read for someone who wants to shed a few tears.

This book felt appropriately ~N2 level. Mostly familiar grammar, without too much difficult vocabulary. The sentences and structure were straightforward, and didn't take a lot of getting used to.
