最悪ですわ!, she would say.

This is a review based on the audiobook, not the printed novel. Based on my rating it should be evident that I did not like it, but since just putting a low rating and walking away feels wrong, I've decided to explain here briefly the reasons.

First of all, it starts of as what feels like a Honzuki rip off. This may be a little too harsh, but it has all the same starting points: Adult woman reincarnates in the body of a young girl. She is kinda self-centered. She uses her previous knowledge to achieve the main goal. This would not be a problem for me, if not for the following points:

  • 1) Mia is insufferable. There is literally no way to like her. Again, this would not be a problem in a good story, which this is not.
  • 2) Mia's plot armor. Right from the first chapters up to the end, the whole story is composed of dozens after dozens of the same plot device: → Mia does something for her own interest Everyone understands what Mia did in a way that makes her look good. This is literally the whole book (maybe this is why they put the "comedy" tag?)
  • 3) Characters are blank. Alright, this is the first book, I understand. But even if it is the first book, you just can not throw characters that feel like plot puppets. Let's see what we have: we have of course Mia (bratty is absolutely not enough of a personality trait), the boy with glasses (is boy), Anne (is maid), school boy 1 (is school boy), school boy 2 (is school boy), school girl 1 (is school girl, and bullied) and school girls 2, 3 and 4.
  • 4) Mia says, plot does. Does Mia need for a character to care for her? No problem! Does Mia need a solution to a problem? There it is!

The story quickly evolves into a school slice-of-life kind of plot, but with blank characters and insufferable protagonist, this is no good. How did I even manage to finish it?
