Not just a manga for learners - also a cute, wholesome, funny read

The basic premise of "girl wakes up one morning with horns on her head" was enough to intrigue me, and I'm glad I picked it up. It's a very wholesome, funny and cute read, although you shouldn't really expect any out-of-this-world storytelling here. It's pretty much slice of life as Ruri and the people around her adapt to this change. (I do so love just how casual her mom is about it in the first chapter... "Oh yeah you have horns now huh. Well, I never told you but your dad was a dragon so that's probably why, anyway I'm late for work cyaaa we'll talk more in the evening!")

The artstyle looks pretty nice too and, as a learner, the presence of furigana on all kanji is much appreciated. I consider myself a beginner and I could understand roughly 60-75% of everything without looking anything up, only having to look up a word or grammar structure on occasion.

The only downside is that there's as of current only one volume as the author encountered health issues shortly after serialization began. We did get some encouraging news from the author late 2023 though so here's hoping they're well and it resumes!
