I really loved the Jinenji story and the relationship building that comes from it. Also I appreciate that the 妖怪 actually speaks, and doesn't just make noises, like in the anime (not the only instance of this sort of thing). I found the group's unconditional acceptance of Sango betraying them, and their insistence that she stay with them, instead of leaving, even though it will likely risk their lives in the future a bit unexpected (though certainly pragmatic). The 3rd story in this volume is really intense.
