You don't really need more plot that that if you're familiar with this author. The story is littered with sex, death, and back stabbing. I failed to get a bingo on my 赤川次郎 card, but I came very close.
I didn't like this quite as much as some other stories I've read by him, unfortunately. It felt like a lot of the real action was too heavily packed at the end, and some plot lines were halfway developed and then abandoned. Some scenes were given lots of detail which felt irrelevant.
Overall I wouldn't recommend unless you're bored and looking for something trashy and easy to read. No shame in that.
