Another extremely funny and creative volume of Seki-Kun, the fact that we're 8 volumes and now over 100 chapters in and I'm still finding chapters that become new favorites is amazing. Seki's Lego people is an all-timer, and we get some really wild stories about addiction and bird gentrification.

I like that the dynamic has clearly shifted over the volumes while still maintaining the core of what makes the premise fun. Seki's games have gradually had more interference from outside actors, and while he still pulls off plenty of trickery, this is the most we've seen the teachers get involved and even Maeda-Kun, who's generally either unaware or ignoring the two gets a bit of payback in, but the series still gives us plenty of trickery where Seki pulls it off in the end.

The topics in this volume were at least related to more normal activities even if Seki's take on them is deeply bizarre. It was a bit easier to read than volume 7 for me.
