Chiikawa... How to describe Chiikawa...? Perhaps the best description is "They're just little guys and they're doing their best 😭."
Personally, my biggest challenge with this series is the handwriting-like font, especially for reading kanji. I'd encourage people to check out the sample chapters on Bookwalker, etc before buying.
That being said, I love Chiikawa. It's one of the few books I actually give up the shelf space for physical copies. It's cute, but with a touch of melancholy that makes it a perfect chef's kiss.
