Heeju is slowly starting to forget everything that has happened in her life. Seonoh, who has the power to enter other people's memories, convinces her to hire him in order to find out what is happening to her.
This was a lot more thoughtful and wholesome than I initially expected from a fantasy novel I picked out on a whim.
I found it very accessable as a learner reading with a popup dictionary. The main characters are introduced straight away and the novel jumps directly into the plot in the first chapter. There's a mystery which propels the reader along and a relatively small set of characters. The POV is largely kept between Seonoh and Heeju.
Although there was some medicial related vocabulary, and one chapter in particular where the characters discussed a scientific study, overall the language and descriptions used were quite straight forward with a lot of quite simple dialogue.
The story itself was super interesting and the author created a collection of very nuanced characters in the space of an average length novel.
