Contains a few columns giving some background about foxes and tanukis, ranging from the basis for youkai stories involving them to how they (the real animals) have adapted to an urban environment. Those sections are probably difficult below N2, but the main manga can probably be tackled around N4 (there’s some slang, but not much).
