Problematic af

This book is awful for a few reasons:

  • depressed guy saves girl from depression (not how this works)
  • girl threatens guy to un-alive herself if he leaves her
  • guy finds will to live because of girl (toxic relationship if I've ever seen one. codependency anyone?)
  • age gap. Girl is in middle school when they meet. Guy is 19. They get together 3 years later, which means she is still very much a minor he very much an adult.
  • it's sooooo long... this could have been half the length and still be too long.

On a positive note: writing is decent and language is easy.
