ぢべたぐらし あひるの生活 〔春夏編〕

Cute, but tricky

This is a very cute slapstick manga about a playful duck that gets into misadventures and annoys the other birds around him. The language used is fairly easy, but made tricky by the fact that all the words are handwritten instead of typed, which does fit the character of the artwork but also makes lookups very tricky since OCR tools like Kanjitomo don't work, and the smaller writing can get pretty difficult. The info about birds at the end of each chapter is probably the hardest since the font is small and dense (and sadly it's the part I wanted to understand the most), but during the actual comic it's not too bad. I enjoyed the gags and thought the scenarios were very cute.
