Yotsuba-to redux?

I really enjoyed this but it's probably not for everyone. On some quick reflection, this is extremely similar to Yotsuba-to in overall story and inclusion of Japanese culture with a random dude somehow ending up having to raise a blonde-haired child. It's been a long time since I had read Yotsuba-to but I got the impression that Yotsuba was a foreign child adopted by the dude. That story centers around Yotsuba's naivety as both a child and foreigner to Japan so it is more playful. This Usagi Drop story has yet another blonde child "adopted" by another dude, but they eventually go through the whole backstory where we learn that it is not possible that the child could have blonde hair... is all I will say. But, this story focuses more on the dude and his acquaintances who are also raising children and how tough it is having the responsibility of raising a child, rather than the child herself as in Yotsuba's case. In this sense, it is more about parenting and marital relationships.
