Enjoyable, gentle, a little weird
The daily lives of a bunch of monster girl and monster boy students who all go to an otherwise traditional Japanese school (more or less) in a world where everybody is some kind of traditional monster (Medusa, a vampire, an invisible girl etc). While the stories often have to do with their monster traits in some way (animal therapy werewolves, taking care of your snake hair, getting thread to repair your frankenstine stitching etc) these fantastic premises are used as a way to springboard to a more universal and human core (how do we relate to other people? How do we care for our pets? How do we deal with change?) so it's more relatable than the premise would suggest.
Language is fairly simple with some outliers because of the monster stuff, but it's otherwise a fairly easy and enjoyable series to just sort of immerse yourself in.
While there isn't a single overarching story the collection focuses on a particular set of students, so you'll see them pop in and out of each other's stories all the time, which is also quite nice.
