Simple vocab, short format, good for beginners, with some drawbacks.

I will share my personal experience (and opinion) considering this show in a quick and concise review.

Pros:

• Simple sentences, mostly easy to follow
• Simple, clear, and concise premise for all 12 episodes and OVAs
• Ridiculous story if you don't mind the lewd nature, can be entertaining when accepting the absurdity of it all
• 12ish minute episodes definitely help it to be more digestible and less of a commitment
• Each character has a pretty unique way of talking, demonstrates personality (I.E. Nekotani being more gyaru esque)

Cons:

• Some vocabulary is more specialized towards that of dogs/animals (I.E. 尻尾 meaining tail)
• Still can be a bit of a high entry bar for absolute beginners
• Very lewd, especially if you are watching the uncensored version as I did. Expect multiple scenes with nudity/ero content

Overall I do not regret watching/learning things with this show, and I would not mind recommending it to others so long as they know what they would be getting into. Definitely one of if not the easiest anime I have seen so far in terms of comprehensibility. 7/10
