Roald Dahl's extensive and eccentric vocabulary is well translated here. This is not too difficult of a book, so it was perfect for my first novel. There is a constant stream of new onomatopoeia and adjectives, and a lot of vocab is repeated in full (ie 大きなくちばし instead of just くちばし) so it sticks.
