A great way to learn about shogi and some puns

Summary This series follows the hilarious antics of Ayumu and Urushi, both members of the shogi club. Urushi is the president of the shogi club (which only consists of the two of them), so Ayumu vows that he will confess his love to his senpai when he finally beats her in a game of shogi. The catch is: Ayumu is just learning how to play shogi and Urushi-senpai is an absolute beast at it. To up the ante, Urushi-senpai knows that Ayumu likes her, so she tries to spend her time goading him into confessing.

Learning aspect: I would genuinely say that this is a great way to pick up some vocab while having a calm, hilarious read. If you're interested in getting the vocab list that my bookclub created for this, let me know. This was the first read in the Seitokai Bookclub and it truly set the pace for us. We all finished it feeling confident!
