Shikimori-san is not just a cutie...

...she's also way too cool for Izumi 😂

The extended cast really makes up for the mismatched pairing between Shikimori and Izumi. There's a bit of an annoyance for me in the last few episodes when we see Shikimori giving up some of her more カッコいい aspects in order to have a shojo manga romance (barf) but even there it doesn't linger too long, and she's just so darn cute in trying that it didn't keep me from enjoying it.

As my current language goal is to improve my listening skills, I'm working through some of the easier shows without any subs. From a language perspective this was rather an easy watch for me with only a few times I missed what was going on. All in all as easy and enjoyable of a watch that I'm hoping for at this level.
