I was expecting a cute, humorous romantic comedy, and while it has some of that, it also has a very political plot/setting. This would be cool except the political side is so full of plot holes, and so many of the characters act in ways that just seem entirely unrealistic that it became a huge distraction from the story for me.
The leads are enjoyable enough. So if you want a quick burn, with lots of drama and emotion, and don't care about various poor writing, then give it a go. On the other hand, if your looking for an excellent political romance/fantasy, I highly recommend 赤髪の白雪姫 | L26 instead.
