Interesting start
This is a new work by Arakawa Hiromu.
I thought I'd just check out a few pages, but ended up reading the whole volume in one shot. Excellent world-building, and the story has been moving at a good pace so far.
Language-wise, I looked up a few vocab words here and there (easy to do because of full furigana) and slowed down for lore bits in the second half of the volume. There's one or two characters that speak in a bit of an archaic way as well. However, on the whole I think this volume is more accessible than some other shounen manga that go into more technical jargon.
Edit: I had a look at chapter 5, and yes, it does get a bit harder.
