The plot gave me chills, which was what interested me in reading this. The book delivered that in the beginning, but then it got really repetitive. The characters' motives were weak, and the ending came out of nowhere. I'd say that, if you like a more blunt type of horror, go for it. If you prefer something that plays a little more with the emotional side, it may not be your thing (there were some amazing scenes with the dead girl's mother tho, those were my favorite).
