This is a substantial improvement from the first season. It starts off a bit slowly, but after a few episodes, it feels more and more like it's on fire. The new year (and school year) brings lots of changes for everyone, and some fresh characters that breath a lot of life into things (for better and worse). It was nice seeing the first years grow into second years, and getting to see a different side to them. There were quite a few surprising twists along the way, and things that would be against common sense by today's standards, yet in the context of the show have a sense of their own. I wasn't too crazy about how some things in the final arc played out, which is why I gave it a 4, but I'm definitely looking forward to the next season!
