Good show let down by a lack of pants
I liked this show rather more than I'm willing to admit in polite company. It's a heartwarming tale of camerarderie with an adorable cast and pleasant art style. Unfortunately, one of its main selling points is also its biggest flaw: none of the girls are wearing pants or skirts. I have no problem with ecchi, but in this case it means that every heroic moment or tender emotional scene is undercut by the girls' knickers being on full display. Despite the in-universe reason for this, it feels so casually disrespectful towards women that even as someone very desensitised to anime nonsense I found it hard to persevere through it. In the end, I'm glad I did, and I will be watching the rest, but please someone put skirts on these girls.
