Bubble Era Biopic of an it girl

This was an interesting insight into the bubble era, and the way the socialites of Tokyo lived.

It's in theory fictional, but I think pretty much entirely based on real events and characters, so was really interesting hearing about some of the events of the 80s.

That said, there's lots of namedropping, models, musicians, gossip at the time, which require looking up while reading.

I was sort of hovering between 3/4 stars, drawbacks: there's lots of アッコ pondering, in between conversations, and sometimes the name dropping was less interesting (e.g. lots of talk of high end fashion brands I could have skipped).

Buuuut, I decided on 4*'s - as I thought it was well written, and it is cool feel a bit like you're in the bubble era world.
