I'm sure most people will be familiar with this weird and wonderful show; for those who aren't, the eponymous main character is a sponge who lives in a pineapple under the sea (SPONGE! BOB! SQUARE! PANTS!) and has lots of wacky adventures with his aquatic friends.
The simple language makes this great for learners, especially since everything the characters talk about is displayed on-screen. However, since a large part of the comedy is slapstick, there are scenes where there isn't any dialogue at all. One minor difficulty learners may have is with the voice acting: as a children's show, there are characters with funny voices, which may be a little difficult to understand (although you do get used to it with time).
A fun and easy watch for beginners, especially if you're already familiar with the show.
