Cute children's book about 衣装 from around the world, which is very enthusiastic about all of them. The illustrations are cute and detailed and use an appropriate variety of skintones; I liked the pictures so much that I didn't want to rush through the book in one go. The book does often mention or show that 衣装 vary by region or by ethnic groups (the section for the US even takes up an extra page to illustrate clothing worn by five different tribes) and also sometimes mentions whether the clothing is still worn daily or only on special occasions.
Grammar is very simple and grammar is in simpler kanji with furigana. The vocabulary covers geography and, of course, terms related to clothing (e.g. ししゅう). The book is divided into four parts, and generally each country gets one page, so it's very easy to pick up and put down.
