This is partially a sequel to the previous book, 奇譚ルーム, but the format of the setting has changed: The "Room" hosts summer vacation destinations for a cast of IRL friends.
For a mystery novel the resolution was a bit too far-fetched for my taste. I can't really go into more detail without spoiling. Up until the very end it was good fun, and great for language learning. I found it to be a (small) step up in difficulty from the previous title.
