Best for those who aren't expecting much
Disclaimer: I have not read the manga, so this review will contain no reference to that series.
This series is not bad, but it's not amazing either. The overarching theme and concepts behind the story make for great storytelling potential, but the anime barely taps into any of this until closer to the final episode. Even then, the outcome is underwhelming for what could have been an unforgettable story with entertaining characters.
