Tomozaki is one of the best gamers in Japan, and in his opinion, the game of real life is one of the worst. No clear-cut rules for success, horribly balanced, and nothing makes sense. But then he meets a gamer who’s just as good as him, and she offers to teach him a few exploits…

I'm 9 episodes in (that's what's out so far), and really loving it at this point.
Story: I found the first 4-5 really hard to watch b/c of the main subject matter (bullying - It's done very realistically - which is what makes it hard to watch) and also Aoi being pretty terrible, callous, hypocritical, etc. After that, it flips to the 文化祭 and becomes more oriented around romantic interests. Once it flipped, I started enjoying it much more.
In some ways this season is more and less interesting than the previous. The first season was very gaming-oriented, and everything really tied into that. This time around, Tomozaki has already made some solid progress, and doesn't need to tie everything into that. He also takes initiative more on his own, as well as pushing back against Aoi sometimes, and finally realizing that she can be really messed up. In any case, the friendships and relationships feel a lot more organic now (besides some forced awkwardness, due Aoi's assigned tasks).
Language: I think the show is pretty excellent for language learning. Despite having read and watched lots of slice of life, there's always new vocab. More importantly the show talks about a lot of social, emotional, and psychological stuff in an analytical, yet accessible, manner. Grammatically, the sentences are in a nice middle spot of neither too simple nor too complex.
