While often eclipsed by the 2009 鋼の錬金術師 Brotherhood | L28 show, the original 2003 anime remains a classic. Somehow it manages to be quite intense and heavy, while also being light and comedic at the right moments. The characters are really gripping and well-developed, and it's worth watching for the OST alone. There's plenty to pick apart, but overall the whol
