Series Blurb
Wakana Gojo is a high school boy who wants to become a kashirashi--a master craftsman who makes traditional Japanese Hina dolls. Though he's gung-ho about the craft, he knows nothing about the latest trends, and has a hard time fitting in with his class. The popular kids--especially one girl, Marin Kitagawa--seem like they live in a completely different world. That all changes one day, when she shares an unexpected secret with him, and their completely different worlds collide.

This one made me sound like a gyaru
The story is a simple classic romance tale but how it is presented and how entertaining the characters are, is what really sells this show for me.
From a language learning prespective it can get a little difficult but with how expressive the characters are and how detailed the animation is, it's actually quite difficult to not follow the plot! The show gets a few bonus points for teaching me some niche cosplay related vocab, and also for having a gyaru front and center!
