In the year 2002, the formerly powerful Japanese men's gymnastics team member Jotaro Aragaki is no longer able to compete. Even though he trained strenuously daily, he is asked about retiring by his coach Amakusa. However, a certain encounter alters Aragaki's fate.

Fun!
Very fun show! For language learning purposes, it's worth noting that Leo, one of the side characters, speaks with ござる at the end of every sentence since he learned Japanese from watching samurai movies. Other than that, there's lots of gymnastics vocabulary, but since it's largely katakana words taken from English, it isn't too bad. Highly recommended!
