It is the Taisho Period in Japan. Tanjiro, a kindhearted boy who sells charcoal for a living, finds his family slaughtered by a demon. To make matters worse, his younger sister Nezuko, the sole survivor, has been transformed into a demon herself. Though devastated by this grim reality, Tanjiro resolves to become a “demon slayer” so that he can turn his sister back into a human, and kill the demon that massacred his family.

鬼滅の刃offers a wide range of language registers, from rude shōnen character speak (e.g., てめえ、何言ったんだぜ！？) to very formal stiff Japanese. However, the most frequently used language falls into the neutral-だ-territory.
Set in the 大正 era, a battle show like this introduces many unfamiliar words. Yet, I discovered that guessing their meaning wasn't too challenging if it's the only unkn

Great art
I really enjoyed Claymore and after mentioning it to someone they referred to this one, Demon Slayer. After a few of episodes I am calling it quits.
Great quality and art style, awesome. But this story seems maybe too flat and the boyish style tailoring to a younger audience leaves me uninterested after just getting through Claymore. Or maybe I just can't do another series on people-eaters.
This may help to explain but Claymore left everything a mystery until we all found out together during
