Refreshingly Basic
Black clover follows the quintessential battle shounen formular to a T.
Bad guys do something bad -> MC + friends have to punch them down and make things right. There is not much more to the plot than that, maybe some struggle with self perception/confidence here or there.
But what can I say, I do like that formular. I appreciate that in this show the MCs don't need a contrived reason to save the people, as knights its literally their job.
