Amazing for beginner listening practice and a really interesting story about human/robot relations. The music and artwork is really fun too.
Story: A nice mix between comedy, romance, and drama. The show introduces a lot of thought-provoking situations about what a world with robots would be like. In some ways it feels dated to the technology of the early 2000's, but it also feels relevant in today's age of smart phones and AI.
Language: One of the main characters is a robot that starts out with nothing but a learning module. As a result of this, that character speaks in a slow robotic voice and asks a lot of simple questions about the world around them. It almost feels as though that character is learning Japanese throughout the show too. The harder parts of the show have to do with vocab related to technology.
The only warning I would give is that the show does have a fair amount of sexual jokes. So be cautious if that kind of thing bothers you. For me, it wasn't problematic enough to detract from the otherwise excellent story/world.
