A great pilot, plagued by a cringe preteen drama
I read the manga portions that the anime covers, and my wife made a note that this series seemed aimed at preteens. I didn't know what she meant until around episode 7 or 8 when the outro music started playing and I could feel this sense of cringe energy. The dead pan look in each characters expression after dropping some artificial love triangle drama. This show is just ... cringe.
