Entertainment: A fantasy anime that's not the usual Isekai tropes and endless battles. The art style, music, and general presentation are all absolutely beautiful. The story is equally beautiful and told in a slow and thoughtful manner. If you are looking for pure action or comedy however look elsewhere.

If you like iyashikei or nonbiri shows, you'll probably enjoy the first half of this. If you're on the fence, it starts picking up from ep 5 on, and gets a lot more action a few eps later!
Story: The premise is somewhat interesting - a detached, wandering Elf who avoids forming emotional attachments to humans, due to their short lifespans changes her attitude after a former companion of 10 years dies, and she realizes she barely knew anything about him and the others she journeyed with (af
BORING
This show, manga, franchise is SO boring and uninteresting and it's built on a barely interesting premise that has been explored to death in other fiction like LoTR and as gorgeous as the show is the message of the show ironically should be applied to views "Life's too short to waste on an anime like this."
I don't know who this series is for other than the "Background noise" or something to look at for 22 minutes. I just can't do it anymore.
One of the best shows ever made. Not as hard as it looks (Although not super easy either)
An amazing show, the art and animation is stunning, the characters are charming and likeable, and it presents a style o fantasy show that is not often seen anywhere. Has that Ghibli style slice of life quality to it, and that quality makes everything that happens feel very heartfelt and personal. Cannot recommend more.
