Possibly the most wholesome romance anime out there, with very few pacing problems. Neither too shallow nor too deep. The characters are a delight (esp the main couple), and the journey is really sweet. The in-game and IRL portions are done so excellently, and complement each other perfectly. One thing that's nice is that this show isn't trying to change the NEET character into a リア充. I don't think you have to be a gamer to find the show accessible, though there is a bit of gaming-specific humor/parody here and there. Also the OP is great!
Language-wise it's straightforward. Despite many scenes occurring in a fantasy MMO, there's not much fantasy vocab to worry about.
