Fun show, plenty of everyday content, some fantasy content

Cardcaptor Sakura is one of the classical magical girl shows. It balances a bit of magical girl action, every day life events, an amount of romance that might be surprising if you've only watched the US-English dub, and is generally well regarded for good reason.

Good series for someone who's already watched a show or two, to expand or reinforce what they know! Vocab and grammar are on the simpler side, and there isn't a lot of highly specific magic/fantasy vocabulary. The show itself is a slow burn from the late 90s, and took me somewhere between ep 4-8, until I was sure I wanted to keep watching.

The story and episodes are pretty straightforward, a mix of slice of life + action. So even if you don't understand everything being said, you're not too lo
