Back to the world of Alice in Wonderland!
Although we already had a decent conclusion to the story at the end of season 2, I was excited to see some more death games in this upcoming season, so as soon as I saw it featured on Netflix, I gave it a go. Initially, I was super invested in the death games and the return of Alice to the world between life and death. After finishing the whole season, I have a bit of a bitter taste. I don't think the answers and overall plot depth were good enough. Conclusion is: Entertaining but shallow. I had watched the first 2 seasons with English subs long ago, but now my Japanese is good enough to watch it with Japanese subs. The language used here is very straightforward and is used in everyday life. However, you will stumble across some very specific vocabulary, like parts of a train or words related to poison. According to the Migaku plugin, my current word count is at about 13.5k words, and with this word count, I could mine 95 unknown words after 6 episodes.
