Language is tricky
I only got 3 eps in, and it felt like it was gonna get more 嫌な than I was into. Anyway this popped up in my gradings recently, and over half a year later I'll say the one thing that stands out to me is that there's a lot of really geeky Western & Japanese otaku references, quotes, etc that would suddenly bump the difficulty a lot.
If I was really starved for something to watch, and had subs, I'd consider coming back to it, just for that - but that doesn't seem likely to happen.
