My Favorite Show
This is my favorite TV show ever, regardless of language. I've seen it three times now, although this was the first one with Korean subtitles. The show follows the daily lives of several families living in a fictional neighborhood in Seoul from 1988-89. Each episode usually follows 2-3 storylines at once.
It sometimes intersects more openly with Korean historical events at the time, like the student protests and the 1988 Seoul Olympics. It also mentions famous musicians and actors at the t
