(4.40/5)Yes, they were lying when they said that Jojo becomes itself at this part
I don't remember the last time I watched something that fell off this hard this quickly. Part 2 was balls-to-the-wall bonkersness dripping with style and humour. Eschewing depth and seriousness, it did "awesome dudes getting into ridiculous fights" incredibly well. Part three replaces the awesome dudes with an ever-increasing cast of dull ones, the ridiculous fights with stands - a mishmash of ill-thought-out and under-utilised powers that leave their wielders standing around doing nothing for most of the episode - and the style and humour with an insipid adventure that's impossible to get invested in, full of absolute childish farce. I felt insulted, and I'm someone who enjoys shows aimed at 10-year-olds. Giving it two stars because, at least, part 2's Jojo remains as a main character, and hearing him shout オー・シット! was pretty fun.

If you're here from the first two parts thinking that it's an alright/mediocre show but heard that this is the part where it starts getting good -- it's true. I didn't really believe it at first and thought that this show was overhyped, but watching it for the first time for language learning made me realize what I was missing out on all these years. I finally get the hype around Jojo now. It made me laugh, got overly invested, and it's honestly one of the most entertaining shonens I've seen.
As for language difficulty: same as the previous two parts. Nothing too special to note here; not really any weird accents either.
